The SAF's inventory is comprised mostly of Russian and Soviet-era equipment. Russia has supplied nearly all of Syria's imported weapons systems, although China and Iran have also provided military equipment.

The inventory of the Finnish Defense Forces consists of a wide mix of mostly modern US, European, and domestically-produced weapons systems.
