Military power of Arab League & Armenia

The Arab League (League of Arab States) is a regional organization in the Arab world. the League has 22 members, but Syria's participation has been suspended since November 2011. Current members: Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates and Yemen. The Joint Defence Council of the Arab League is one of the Institutions of the Arab League. The Arab League as an organisation has no military Force but they establish a peacekeeping force.

Armenia is a country located in Southwestern Asia with an area of 29,743 km² (land boundries: 1,570 km and costline 0 km (landlocked)). The capital of Armenia is Yerevan. The number of inhabitants is 2,967,900.

Armenia has been a member of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) since 1994. Russia has deployed about 2,000 peacekeeping troops to the area in and around Nagorno-Karabakh as part of a cease-fire agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The inventory of the Armenian Armed Forces includes mostly Russian and Soviet-era equipment.
