Military power of Egypt & Armenia

Egypt is a country located in Northern Africa with an area of 1,010,407 km² (land boundries: 2,612 km and costline 2,450 km). The capital of Egypt is Cairo. The number of inhabitants is 101,576,517.

Egypt has Major Non-NATO Ally (MNNA) status with the US. The EAF's inventory is comprised of a mix of domestically produced, imported Soviet-era, and more modern, particularly Western, weapons systems. The leading suppliers of military hardware to Egypt are France, Russia, and the United States.

Armenia is a country located in Southwestern Asia with an area of 29,743 km² (land boundries: 1,570 km and costline 0 km (landlocked)). The capital of Armenia is Yerevan. The number of inhabitants is 2,967,900.

Armenia has been a member of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) since 1994. Russia has deployed about 2,000 peacekeeping troops to the area in and around Nagorno-Karabakh as part of a cease-fire agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The inventory of the Armenian Armed Forces includes mostly Russian and Soviet-era equipment.
