China is the world's most populous country, with a population of more than 1.4 billion people, on the other hand Russia is the largest country in the world by area, covering over 17,098,246 square kilometres.

China refused to condemn the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Following the implementation of international sanctions during the war, China provided economic relief to Russia.
