Singapore is a member of the Five Powers Defense Arrangements, a series of mutual assistance agreements reached in 1971 also includes Australia, Malaysia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. The SAF has a diverse and largely modern mix of domestically-produced and imported weapons. Singapore has the most developed arms industry in Southeast Asia.

Armenia is a country located in Southwestern Asia with an area of 29,743 km² (land boundries: 1,570 km and costline 0 km (landlocked)). The capital of Armenia is Yerevan. The number of inhabitants is 2,967,900.

Armenia has been a member of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) since 1994. Russia has deployed about 2,000 peacekeeping troops to the area in and around Nagorno-Karabakh as part of a cease-fire agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The inventory of the Armenian Armed Forces includes mostly Russian and Soviet-era equipment.
